Keri Davis brings her history of gallery curating with her on her personal making journey. As a child, being exposed daily to the family gallery full of southwest oil paintings and sculptures gave her an eye and appreciation for art. Through the years of teaching and painting, she has continued to find inspiration in the work of other artists and continues to add additional medium and techniques to her style as a result. Waterscapes of Mississippi waterways in watercolor, acrylic, and pen and ink are a major inspiration. Keri and her husband Jason, a driftwood artist, recharge themselves with spending time fishing, hunting, and searching for chantrelles in the Mississippi woods. Abstractions and minimalist music themes tie in to her new work at her studio in Pacesetter Gallery. Keri can be found at the gallery painting surrounded by the work of over 40 Mississippi artists soaking up the inspiration daily.
